Europe’s LGBTI Youth to Meet in Thessaloniki

 

2014 European Youth Capital Thessaloniki will host young people from all around Europe to talk about their problems and demands. The event will be organized with the theme “reclaiming our future” just a few weeks before the European Parliament elections to be held on May 22-25.  

 

During one of the workshops, LGBTI youth will formulate their demands on the areas of education, empowerment and freedom of expression. The workshop will be run by Omer Akpinar from Kaos GL Association. Young LGBTI activists from Turkey will participate in the workshop, as well.
