LGBT Associations Were Added To List

Speaker of The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Cemil Çiçek, who thanked to individuals and institutions delivering their opinion to Parliamentary Commission of Conciliation, updated his appreciation before 24 hours passed from the news of his ignorance about LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender).

 

Speaker of The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Cemil Çiçek, thanked to individuals and institutions delivering their opinion with a message on website of parliament “New Constitution” and he said: “Thank you for your opinions and recommendations about new constitution.”

 

LGBT associations SPoD (Social Policies, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Association), Pembe Hayat (Pembe Hayat LGBTT Solidarity Association), and Kaos GL (Kaos Gay and Lesbian Cultural Research and Solidarity Association) participating to the process of New Constitution and delivering their opinions and recommendations to Parliamentary Commission of Conciliation were not taken the thank-list of speaker of The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Cemil Çiçek.

 

After this progress, Kaos GL Association claimed that they don’t expect appreciation, but they are against to be ignored of LGBT Organizations’ demands about New Constitutions.

 

At the beginning of the preparing stage, speaker of The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Cemil Çiçek said on Parliament website that “I call all of our citizens to actively participate in processing of New Constitution as individual or organization.”
