The selected participants of the Ankara Queer Art Program - Artist Residency, organized by Kaos GL, have been announced. The program plans to host visual artists both from Turkey and worldwide at Ankara.

Dante Buu is one of the selected artists. Dante Buu (1987, Rožaje, Montenegro), is a conceptual artist, storyteller and performer. His recent solo exhibitions and public interventions include: Weekend Lovers, Dim, Belgrade (2019), I do not want my Lover to go to Work, Cultural Centre Tobacco 001, Ljubljana (2018-2019), Solo Show, Gallery Duplex100m2, Sarajevo (2017), Untitled/Mirror of Hans, Bar Saint Jean, Berlin (2016), Welcome Mustafa to the Life You Deserve, Graz (2016). Buu has participated in group shows such as: NEXUS 1, TBA Festival (PICA) – Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland (2019), Careful with that Axe, Eugene, AKT Art Space, Kyiv (2019), A Strong Desire, PS120, Berlin (2018), Universal Hospitality 2, Centre for Contemporary Art FUTURA, Prague (2017), That’s not my History, Steirischer Herbst – < rotor > center for contemporary art, Graz (2015), 3rd Biennial of Contemporary Art, Tito’s Bunker – Atomic War Command, Konjic (2015). Dante Buu has been awarded various residency programs, among others: WHW Akademija, Zagreb (2019-2020), Cultural Centre Tobacco 001, Ljubljana (2018-2019), KulturKontakt Austria, Vienna (2017), Q21/MuseumsQuartier, Vienna (2017) and West Balkan Calling, Graz (2016).
