The first ever queer festival of Turkey, Pembe Hayat QueerFest, will be organized in Ankara between the dates 17 - 24 November 2011.
The Festival, which will be organized by Pembe Hayat, will create an opportunity for the discussion of queer arts in Turkey, while highligthing existing discrimination against LGBTQ individuals.
Pembe Hayat QueerFest, which aims at the creation of expression spheres for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer rights movement through arts, will be held in Ankara between the dates 17 - 24 November.
Pembe Hayat QueerFest which will bring various types of arts like films, literature, music and/or video together, will host many queer artists both from Turkey and abroad.
